My name is Peter Crowe. I am an experienced and UKCP accredited psychosynthesis counsellor and psychotherapist. In my practice Counselling Exeter I welcome individuals and couples from all walks of life.
We might all face challenges in the course of our life. Getting professional support during these difficult times can help you transform stressful issues into a source of new ambition and innovation.
How I can help
I offer an integrative approach to counselling and psychotherapy, this means that I tailor a variety of techniques and therapeutic interventions to suit your needs as an individual.
In the relaxed and supportive environment I offer you can safely explore your feelings and thoughts.
Psychosynthesis is a particular psychology at the heart of my therapeutic work. It is a holistic and integrative psychospiritual psychology, concerned not only with how we manage our problems and alleviate suffering, but also with how we awaken to our life’s potential.
I also offer ecotherapy: this is a form of therapy that involves working outside in nature. In addition I offer coaching, supporting individuals and organisations in the process of achieving their fullest potential.
I am a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist and I am accredited with UKCP. Next to my counselling practice I am a practicing artist, writer and musician. Read more about me here.
My key qualifications include:
- Masters Degree (M.A.) in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy, Middlesex University
- Diploma in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy, Institute of Psychosynthesis, London
- Diploma in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapeutic Counselling, Institute of Psychosynthesis, London
- Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling (NZQA level 7 – degree equivalent), NZ Institute of Psychosynthesis, Auckland
In my work I will tailor a variety of techniques to suit your needs. This is knows as an integrative approach to counselling and psychotherapy. My focus will be on you and your distinctive experience.

Our first session
The first session allows us to meet in person and talk about what you want to get out of counselling. It is also an opportunity to ask questions and ensure there is a good match between what I offer and what you need.
